Interactive Design. (ideas so far)

We decided to look at the ISTD competition brief, from which we had several options to chose from, we have chosen 'Plays'. The purpose of the brief is to design a website for young adults and teenagers, which gives 10 facts about the chosen subject. We have come up with the idea of doing... 'The Globe Theater's top 10 Shakespeare Plays'. The way in which we will do this is by illustrating the 10 plays using typographic arrangements and image, in a way that will suit our audience. We are also going to provide a brief overview of each play, however we want the type and illustrations to be the main focus points!

The main influence behind this idea, is after attending the GTF guest lecture last Wednesday, when we were shown the programmes they produced for the Globe Theatre, for The Edges of Rome. Illustrations and splattered paint were added on each time there was a new performance and a new programme was needed. This went over the existing design, so layers and colours built up each time.
